—There are two data inputsD0and D1, and a select inputcalled S.

—There is one outputnamed Q.

􀂃The multiplexer routes one of its data inputs (D0 or D1) to the output Q, based on the value of S.

—If S=0, the output will be D0.

—If S=1, the output will be D1.
