Other changes introduced in After Effects CS4 seem tied
to Color Management but come into play even if you never
enable it:
. A video fi le in a DV or other Y’CrCb (YUV) format
requires (and receives) automatic color interpretation
upon import into After Effects, applying settings that
would previously have been up to you to add. This is
done by MediaCore, a little known Adobe application
that runs invisibly behind the scenes of Adobe video
applications (see “Input Profi le and MediaCore,” later
in this chapter).
