The Big Bang Theory,' 'The Vampire Diaries' on tap tonight

Stuck on the couch tonight? TimesReporter.com features editor Rex Huffman offers some of his top picks for television viewing in his daily series:
• A fight between Sheldon and Leonard impacts Amy and Penny’s living arrangements on a new episode of“The Big Bang Theory,” which airs at 8 p.m. on CBS. Tune to WOIO-TV Channel 19 (cable Channel 10). Also tonight, while Howard is away, Raj helps Mrs. Wolowitz out.
• A new episode of “Two and a Half Men” follows at 8:30 p.m. on CBS. Tonight, when Jake brings his 36-year-old girlfriend home for a visit, Alan is concerned. And speaking of Alan, Walden tries to hide something from him tonight.
• If you’re interested, you can stick with CBS at 9 p.m. for a new“Person of Interest.” Tonight, Finch and Reese meet their match: a tech billionaire whose curiosity and endless resources could expose their identities and ruin their efforts to save his life. I hate it when than happens.
• A new episode of “Elementary” follows at 10 p.m. on  WOIO-TV Channel 19 (cable Channel 10). Tonight, Sherlock helps Rhys, a former drug dealer, search for his kidnapped daughter. Also, when Rhys suggests that Sherlock was a better detective when he was using drugs, Watson fears for his sobriety.
• Fans of the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” can settle back at 8 p.m. for a new episode. Tune to WBNX-TV Channel 55 (cable Channel 18). Tonight, Shane leads an expedition to an island where he believes the secret of the cure is hidden. Meanwhile, Elena and Rebekah’s rivalry continues, and when Tyler confronts Klaus, Caroline is dragged into the violence that follows. I repeat: I hate it when that happens.
• As long as you’re tune to cable Channel 18, you may as well stick around for a new episode of  “Beauty and the Beast” which follows at 9 p.m. Tonight, Cat is forced to interrupt Vincent’s romantic getaway with Alex when she fears their lives may be in danger, and  Evan becomes even more suspicious of J.T. after finding a bug.
• “Community” returns to NBC’s  Thursday night lineup tonight at 8 p.m. Tune to WKYC-TV Channel 8 or WTOV-TV Channel 9 or both, if you so choose. Tonight, Dean Pelton devises a way for students to compete for class space, and Abed stresses over the thought of the study group breaking up after graduation.
